a day before....

finally my bb is due last week saturday but until today, he is still so comfy in my tummy....

apr 5th was due date.....dr madhu finally let me induce... she suggested today or tomorrow...

after discussing with hubby, we choose tomorrow apr 8th....tuesday... reason being: hubby wanna clear some of his office work before starting his paternity leaves..

fine with me.. just a day difference.. means i got another extra 24 hours to get prepared

yday hubby set-up the babycot in our bedroom... i got so much mix feelings now.....it finally dawn on me that the day is nearer... so much nearer that i start to feel "kan cheong"

and at the same time, i'm looking forward to see my bb....

so, tomolo hubby will drive me to the hospital... check-in time will be 6.30am..... hope that all goes well...

i wish for a short, safe, natural delivery and may bb in the best of health

no sign yet

after tuesday's check-up, i am now still waiting at home for my little bb... and dear hubby still goes to work as usual....

doc said i should be delivering between 24-72 hours after the check-up..... which means tomolo will be the calculated due date....

what if there is still no sign of labor? must induce liao... coz it's 40 weeeks..... i am so impatient...
though until now, my gynae don't really recommend me to induce..... she just asked me to wait for the sign....

i am so "kan cheong"... u know-lah.. being first time pregnant... don't really know what to expect... so many diff labor stories that i hv heard........

and so many concern family members, relatives, frens & colleagues hv been asking me the same question

"haven't deliver yet ah?"

still waiting

i started my leave to stay at home for a good rest.. or should i say, i am so lazy to go to work with my big and heavy tummy......

my due date is only next week saturday but everyday i have keep on telling bb to pop out earlier..... i guess bb is just too comfy in my tummy that he prefer to come out onli when he feels he wants to....

i will have my check-up appointment tomolo with my gynae... will get her advice if i should be induced earlier.....

my legs are swollen like elephants.... walk oso like a penguin...... sleep like a pig (nowadays i sleep more during daytime coz at nite keep waking up)

whatever it is, BB.... WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU.....

heartburn

when i was in my first trimester, i always wake up middle of the nite feeling hungry... i will then have a small packet of milk/ MILO.... but once a while, i need to drink up to 3 packets in 6 hours time which means waking up every 2 hours..........

and now in my final trimester, this hungriness problem is back.... this time, it is actually heartburn--> acid indigestion

since two weeks ago, every nite my dear MIL will prepare a flusk of hot porridge for me
and most nites, i will hv the porridge at 2am and 5am......sometimes in between, i still need to have packet of drink too.....

sigh..... this constant waking up middle of the nite is tiring.... very tiring....

week 36

when i first blog about my pregnancy, i was 19 weeks pregnant.... and now i am in my final trimester, week 36....

due date is apr 5th but my feelings tell me that bb wll be out earlier than that date.... don't ask me why... it's just a feeling i have as my due date is nearer

nearer to due date = feeling "heavy" with my big round tummy...

i am so lazy these days to go to work...so, what i do is apply a day of leave for each working week...

for example yday i was on AL... thought wanna sleep sleep sleep.... but ended up slept half day and the other half day, fold cloth napkins, packed my maternity bag, prepared bb's cabinets of clothings etc.....

so, am i ready to welcome my little bb to this world? both YES and NO

YES--> material things are ready

NO --> taking care of him since this is first child

but emotionally, we are ready.... hubby & i can't wait for his arrival (but it will comes with lack of sleep for us with bb's constant crying middle of the nite for milk/ wet diapers)...

with my MIL's and my mummy's help, i hope to go through my confinement without much complain from me coz i know i can't wash my hair for the first 12days after delivery.... i got to eat lots of ginger which is not my fav type of food.....

whatever it is..... BB, when you are ready to "pop" out to see this world, we will welcome you

a burger a day....

yes... definitely it is late now... at least for me... the time now is 11.15pm.. on normal days i will be sleeping...... or should i say, i am asleep from 10pm onwards.....

but today, i am still awake... surfing net... msn-ing... blogging and the best part is, i just had one RAMLY burger ayam... before pregnant, i rarely eat this RAMLY burgers... it is very yummylicious .... just simple and nice.....

normally it will be McD fillet-o-fish... but where to find a McD outlet near my new home? currently McD still do not cater for delivery service to our new housing area..... takde..... and not forgetting to mention DOMINO's, Pizza Hut oso takde delivery service....

so, hubby willingly walked to a nearby kopitiam which has a burger stall but unfortunately, it is not open (maybe becoz of the rain)........ what hubby do instead is he drove all the way to Klang town in search of the RAMLY burger for me.....

i love you so much dear....... for the burger... for ur effort... for ur thoughtfulness (he scare i wake him up middle of the nite craving for a RAMLY burger)..... hehehe

happy news for the FOONG family...

my BB will be due in april '08

my elder cousin bro's wife bb will also be due in april '08

and the latest news, my younger cousin sis's bb will be due in july '08

three little mickey/ minnie mouses for us FOONG family next year

imagine a gathering of three little ones at family function....it will be fun! i hope....

hmmm... maybe more good news to come from other FOONG family members as well.... hehehe

i wish our paternal grandma still around...... she would then be very happy to see her three great grandchildren.. may she rest in peace....

a new life

it has been a while since i frequently blog... i am so lazy these days...

most of you knew that i am pregnant... yup... i am now 19 weeks pregnant... a happy news to share online with you guys who yet to know...

when hubby and i first found out that i tested positive for pregnancy, we still a bit blur & not sure if it is true.... we were married for almost two years and this news came as a surprised too... i was feeling happy and unsure during the initial stage.... we were hoping to have children one day and when my pregnancy were confirmed by the gynae, i thought i were dreaming....

my expected delivery due date is apr 5th, '08..... which means another 5 mths to go... i am now almost half way journey of my pregnancy....

but all this does not come easy for us as the first few weeks, my pregnancy was unstable and gynae said there is a high risk of miscarriage due to some blood spotting... she recommended a medication and after taking it for two weeks, the spotting stop and i hope it will continue to the end of my pregnancy....

i have heard of so many different type of pregnancy complications... 4 out of 5 frens' pregnancy comes with complications.... we are all so fragile these days.. don't u think so? but i am glad all of us came thru the difficulties... and they will be giving birth this dec '07... then followed by jan '08, feb '08, march '08 and mine apr '08......

oklah.... here is two scan pictures of our bb to share with u guys...... i wanna share more of my pregnancy journey too... hopefully i can overcome my laziness and blog more often soon....
