on sunday, i had bak kut teh with my family + dad's frens for brunch at kg baru subang.....
yesterday on tuesday, i had bak kut teh again but this time is for dinner with mr & mrs ha...... we tried this famous Meru bak kut teh near the MAYBANK (not the Teluk Pulai one)... this one is near klang high school..... very easy to spot coz this Maybank, Meru is quite a big branch..... the bak kut teh stall is just beside the road only....
as usual, i had my individual claypot of pork-less bak kut teh.... and they had a claypot of PORK one... i was surprised when i first saw the claypot..... OH MY GOD! SO BIG BOWL! HOW TO FINISH ALL THIS MUSHROOMS + GOLDEN MUSHROOMS + BUTTON MUSHROOMS + TAU FU POK???.... luckily MR & MRS HA helped me with some.....we oso had some "yau char keuy" to accompany our meal....
comment:
- it's worth eating coz they are so generous with the many types of mushrooms. not like some place in SJ which charge extra a few ringgit for more golden mushrooms.... BUT there is no vege accompanying this bak kut teh........ only mushrooms & tau fu pok.....
-the place has continuos customers walking in for dinner on a WEEKDAY....... not bad huh???
- the soup is thick. as what MR HA said: the soup looks more like gravy than soup
- overall taste: oklah..... something diff about the soup.... but i still prefer my fav BAK KUT TEH stall at Kg Baru Subang......
will i eat here again? why not???
