Mika Nakashima- Sakurairo Mau Koro

found this nice clip at my cousin jaslyn's blog... sit back and ENJOY!

I am actually still listening to this song and it's for more than 10 times this whole nite....

Here's the song's translation:

When the cherryblossom colors flutter, I’m alone
Standing exhausted, I can’t cut off these feelings bottled up inside

When the color of new leaves shake, feelings overflow
I lost sight of everything and drifted towards you

The trees around us told us in silence
That we would both see:
People don’t have to be limited to one place

When the withering leaves change color, I am next to you
And as the passing days fade, our love changes

But please, let these trees
Protect these feelings
Silently rustling your leaves above us,
Just one more time..

Before long, the seasons will pass
And we will be taken somewhere else
But right now, there’s only one thing I know
Embrace me, silently

Covered by the snow, the feelings get lost
The footprints vanish, sounds disappear in vain

But please, let these trees
Protect these feelings
So that, frozen in eternity
We may live on here

The trees around us told us in silence
That we would both see:
People don’t have to be limited to one place

When the cherryblossom colors flutter, I’m alone
Savoring my thoughts of you

bak kut teh again

on sunday, i had bak kut teh with my family + dad's frens for brunch at kg baru subang.....

yesterday on tuesday, i had bak kut teh again but this time is for dinner with mr & mrs ha...... we tried this famous Meru bak kut teh near the MAYBANK (not the Teluk Pulai one)... this one is near klang high school..... very easy to spot coz this Maybank, Meru is quite a big branch..... the bak kut teh stall is just beside the road only....

as usual, i had my individual claypot of pork-less bak kut teh.... and they had a claypot of PORK one... i was surprised when i first saw the claypot..... OH MY GOD! SO BIG BOWL! HOW TO FINISH ALL THIS MUSHROOMS + GOLDEN MUSHROOMS + BUTTON MUSHROOMS + TAU FU POK???.... luckily MR & MRS HA helped me with some.....we oso had some "yau char keuy" to accompany our meal....
comment:

- it's worth eating coz they are so generous with the many types of mushrooms. not like some place in SJ which charge extra a few ringgit for more golden mushrooms.... BUT there is no vege accompanying this bak kut teh........ only mushrooms & tau fu pok.....
-the place has continuos customers walking in for dinner on a WEEKDAY....... not bad huh???
- the soup is thick. as what MR HA said: the soup looks more like gravy than soup
- overall taste: oklah..... something diff about the soup.... but i still prefer my fav BAK KUT TEH stall at Kg Baru Subang......

will i eat here again? why not???

majestic hoteli was spring cleaning my office drawers & i found this sachet of coffee.... yup! it was from the MAJESTIC HOTEL, Nathan Road, Kowloon...... the place where hubby & i stayed when we went to HONG KONG for our honeymoon (oct 4th-7th '05)...
how time flies.... i've been married for one and a half year now but it just seems like yesterday that i just got married.... hehehe....
delicacy from the above pic, what do u think my two colleagues are having for snack???

they actually want to send out a message from this pic:

YUMMY! This is delicious....wanna try some?

hmmm.. it's actually a delicacy bought by one of the boss who went to Thailand recently and he introduced to us this "claimed" delicacy: FRIED GRASSHOPPERS........ me alwiz being the not so adventuruos type of person did not try this so called delicacy at all! NEVER EVER!

I just can't imagine myself having a bite of this........ how could they say it's a nice snack??? i think i'll never understand the reason why anyone of us could gulp down this grasshoppers.....

i tried looking into the box of FRIED GRASSHOPPERS for a few times & each time it became worse when i feel like vomitting..... DO YOU???

FINDING NEMO
i still remember when i watched this cartoon movie a couple of years back with my dear hubby, it was during school holidays, so the cinema was packed with KIDS who can't stop talking......

but it was fun!... i like the animation & the storyline..... my fav character is of course the pretty DORY......

and this time around, hubby & i was 2nd time lucky coz AGAIN we hv won a pair of ticket to watch DISNEY ON ICE- FINDING NEMO on April 7th '07 (saturday 8.30pm)....
yup! last year we both oso won a pair of ticket to watch DISNEY ON ICE too .... but that time it was not FINDING NEMO... it was a mixture of Beauty & The Beast, Cinderella etc.....

and coincidentally this time around, our good frens, MR & MRS HA also won a pair of the tickets(actually, they are the one who informed me that we hv won the tickets).... guess that we will most probably car pool together....
So, anyone of you who are interested to watch this DISNEY ON ICE, you may still purchase the tickets online

surprise! surprise!

hubby called me yesterday evening while i was at oneU.... and to my surprise, he called me again just now.... two calls in two days.... it just make me so happy & i miss him more now.... countdown to 6 days before hubby is home...... yippie!!!
SKY SKY

SKY, my family's dog has grown so much for the past few months... it is now a charming dog.... when it's not barking of course.....
malaysians again...

my family & i was heading back to the carpark after having seafood dinner at one of the restaurants in NOTHPORT..... and this is what we saw:
*** can you see that this STUPID DUMMY CAR is parked rite in front of the main entrance to the restaurant??? there is ample of parking bays around but THE STUPID DUMMY DRIVER does not bother at all ***
a fun filled day at oneU

yesterday after work, saturday(1/2 day work onli), a group of us (me, Joyce, Joanne B, Cynthia, Yvonne, Chan & Nic) went to oneU for lunch (minus NIC), bowling & movie.... we watched the chinese movie, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE! hmmm... the movie is so so... it's a comedy one..... and we ended the day with dinner at SS2, PJ.....

firstly for lunch, we had chinese food at SOHO...located in between the old & new wings..... beside Johnny's steamboat........it's a bit like dragon-I restaurant... in comparison, SOHO caters more for dim sum... but dragon-I has more variety of desserts and side dishes.... both oso serve lai mian....

* we played two games each & the results dispalyed here is the 2nd game one. can se my result there??? P= 62, hehehe *

lastly, we had dinner at the PRINCE CAFE, SS2, PJ..... the menu is similiar to KIM GARY restaurant.... anyway, PRINCE CAFE has nicer environment there coz GREEN (my fav colour) is their theme... green uniform... green walls..... green menu.... as for the food, KIM GARY is better....

ang pows
it's almost end of Y2007 CNY.... though i'm married, but hubby & i still get some ang pows from relatives... not much but got oso lah.... i miss those days when i can still rcv ang pows from my relatives, my parent's frens & fren's parents without feeling "pai seh"..... thinking back, the last time i got ang pow openly was in Y2005.... how time flies.....

stir-fry four angled-beans with dried shrimps

bought two packets of this four angled beans for my mummy but she said she doesn't want it. so what i did was i tried cooking a packet of it...

ingredients:(serve 3-4 persons)

  • a packet of four angled beans (roughly 15 stalks of it)- cut into smaller sizes
  • 3 tablespoons of dried shrimp
  • garlic
  • oil

method:

- add a little bit of oil, stir-fry garlic + dried shrimp until the dried shrimp turn red/cook

- add in the four angled beans

- stir-fry it until the vege is cooked

** tips: no need salt becoz the dried shrimp is tasty enuf **

it's that easy..... if i can cook it, you definitely can also.....

result: not so bad taste.... hubby also finished half the plate of this dish without any complain.

day 4

on 28.02.07, wednesday...... my hubby actually left for his japan business trip again........ schedule to come back onli on 17th march.... another 2 weeks to go without hubby......sien.. sien... sien.... i alwiz envy those who have their spouse 365 days a year..... i really do...

so, if you are married, please go to ur hubby/ wife now and say I LOVE YOU to him/ her....... give them a big hug & let them know how much they meant to you...... i wish i can do so now......

dear, i miss you so much....
what do u think this guy is trying to say???
a few possibilities actually:

- HEY! how come my food taste so bad! i want refund!

- HEY! what did you say just now?

- HEY! what's so funny about me?

- HEY! you listen to me! i'm the BOSS here.... ok?

- HEY! you better watch out! don't let me see your face again......

well, he's actually MR HA........ someone whom i have mentioned a few times in my blog...... he's my my primary/ secondary school fren....... i cannot post a clear pic of him...... or else he won't let me join him & his wife for dinner again......so, just bear with this "oldie" pic of him....
bak kut teh

i am not a pork-lover person.... it's true.... dunno how to explain.... i onli eat a few selected type of pork which is either fried, roast (i onli eat the crispy skin a.k.a. suckling pig), sweet & sour, char siew (onli the type which is BBQ badly - those a bit burnt lah)........
i just can't stand the smell of the pork meat... when i was much younger, i LOVE eating pork... i can still remember that as a kid, i love vinegar pork trotter, roast pork, just any type of pork.... but as i enter secondary school, things change.... i started to avoid RED MEAT except DUCK meat... means no pork, beef or mutton for me, please!

must be because of the pig farm visit i had when i was in my school days.... that totally change my way of eating PORK and other red meat.....

anyway, back to my post topic: BAK KUT TEH.... this is one of the pork dish that i still consume (minus the pork meat of course) as long as the soup does not taste so much of pork meat.....

last week, me & my two colleagues went for lunch at one of my fav BAK KUT TEH stall... the name of the shop is AH SING BAK KUT TEH at Kampung Baru Subang.... as usual, i will order my own claypot of BAK KUT TEH- meatless (pork-less lor)........... onli got vege+tau fu pok+button mushrooms... too bad they don't hv "yau char kueh" that day......
it was a satisfying meal as the soup is nice...... herbal soup with not much pork meat smell..... just nice for me...... slurppp........
