s'pore food
i was in s'pore last mth for a short 3days 2 nites stay with my parents and sis.... hubby was too busy to join us... nevertheless, i still enjoy the trip... hehehe...
everytime we reach singapore, we will head to one of the many food courts at one of the neighbourhood for their local delight which is 'MEE POK'..... it's actually dry noodles either with pork/ fishballs + mushrooms+ fish cake........
for the very first time, i tried their "singapore rojak" which is very similar to the "penang fruit rojak" except that they have crispier "tau fu pok"...
and at nite, dad brought us to a famous "tong sui" stall at chinatown which sells the famous "Peanut Soup Tong Yuen".... this stall oso have the ordinary/ normal tong yuen with ginger soup.... of course, we tried the peanut soup one which turn out to be really good though we had it at about 10.30pm.......
we actually ordered the peanut soup with four pieces of tong yuen with different fillings(peanut+ red bean+ black sesame+ yam)..... it cost S$ 1.50 per bowl for 4 pieces of tong yuen with peanut soup... my verdict for this "tong sui": DELICIOUS... must try if you are in chinatown......
looking forward to my next trip to singapore, maybe in June next month with dear hubby.... they are having the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE..... okie hubby?
